GuardEon is a global circuit breaker platform designed specifically for the digital industrial age, from smart, safe and reliable operation to manufacturing methods.

        GuardEon is developed and tested at GE’s circuit breaker startup lab in Plainville, Connecticut. The facility consists of two labs: the New Product Introduction (NPI) acceleration lab and the Advanced Manufacturing lab, where GuardEon’s design and manufacturing processes are developed, respectively. By bringing together design and manufacturing teams, GE improved design and manufacturability early in GuardEon development.
       The new circuit breakers will be manufactured at GE Energy Connections’ state-of-the-art facility using automated, robotic assembly and other techniques to reduce production time and ensure product reliability.
